The OIC Resolution No. 8/49 Leg. Res. on conferring the OIC Affiliated Institution status upon IFHAB on 24-25 Shaaban 1444 H, 16-17 March 2023 AD: 

1. Values the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on ensuring the IFHAB is a success by securing the relevant budget. 

1. Underscores IFHAB compliance with the standards and regulations issued by the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC). 

1. Calls upon the OIC Member States, General Secretariat, subsidiary bodies, specialized and affiliated institutions to collaborate with IFHAB in achieving its mandated task. 

1. Mandates the Secretary General to follow up on the implementation of this Resolution and to report it to the 50th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).
